Physical Education has truly evolved over the last decade.  As a physical educator I have had the opportunity to see this change occur.  I would like to think that Commit-2B-Fit is allowing us to build Chilhowee School District into one of the most advanced PE programs in the area.  Are we there yet? No, not yet; but we are growing in both equipment and knowledge as we move forward with Commit-2B-Fit. I constantly receive emails from other PE programs asking questions. Folks around the area are starting to really notice CHS Phys. Ed.

We have in the works a brand new Weight Room; this room will be built by the same company who put together Penn State, Michigan State, Utah St. and several other well known college weight rooms.  We will have the finest equipment in the world right here at CHS.  We also have some new updates in our gymnasium where most of the Commit-2B-Fit classes and programs occur.  And one exciting project we’re working on, a project I’m not quite ready to reveal, excites me the most.  I won’t let the cat out of the bag just yet, but I can give you a pretty good hint; can you imagine what would happen if PE class collided with a state-of-the-art arcade to make one of the most explosive, active PE classes ever?  I can’t wait!
