So why is Commit-2B-Fit such a great program . . . ?

1. It's brought life to the PE program here at Chilhowee. Students at Chilhowee are lucky enough to
have more PE equipment than most other
schools in the MidWest. The opportunities,
games, and skills that this equipment
provides for our students physical education
is endless.
2. Encouraging health knowlege in our students. Commit-2B-Fit purchased brand new health books. Now, students have the opportunity to learn how the human body works and why it is important for you to be physically active.
4. Encouraging healthy activity by improving sports & wellness programs. Commit-2B-Fit purchased new scoreboards for sport & PE use, new
sound system and video system for the
gym that will be used for assemblies,
graduation, sporting events, class,
banquets, music programs, prom, etc.
The program is also in the process of
building a new weight room with new
equipment.

3. Classroom Integration. Commit-2B-Fit goes outside of PE & Health class to benefit our students in the classroom by getting them physically active in class. The program has purchased numerous items for core classroom teachers: brain break material and computers for the library.
